A short, direct guide in which Joel Meyerowitz shares the thinking behind his pictures, focused on mindset, seeing and intention rather than camera settings.
Why itβs worth finding
Recommended on the thread as a book that teaches how to think like a photographer, with refreshingly little about which buttons to press.

βJoel Meyerowitz: How I Make Photographs is excellent. It teaches mindset and thinking with proactive planning, and refreshingly little about what camera buttons to press. It is however short and imho overpriced. I managed to get a perfect second hand edition at a great price. Short, sweet, succinct, content has value. Meyerowitz writes simply and clearly.β
